Well, here's at least one really cool picture (along with press release - two more clicks gives you the full size version) of the silicon tracker being inserted into the detector...and here are just a few pix taken by someone after the tracker was inserted - you can barely see the end of it sticking out. The people on the left are standing exactly where I was to watch the tracker descend to the cavern floor. Maybe (hopefully) they'll add more pictures to this later?
